2025 Call-for-Proposals for Feature Films
Applications for long-form content projects (i.e. feature films) are conducted by a Call-for-Proposals (CFP).
The 2025 CFP for the Long-Form Content Grant is open to feature film projects (at least 70 minutes) applying for any of the four categories:
- New SG Director [ND]
With a first or second-time feature film Director (Singapore Citizen/PR, one Director per project), whose previous long-form content projects have not been supported by IMDA.
- Southeast Asia Co-Production [SEA]
Originate from the Southeast Asia region, and are in collaboration with a Singapore Co-Producer.
- Go-Global [GG]
International content with ambition and plans for wide global reach (at least 3 countries, 1 of which must be outside SEA).
- Go-Global+ [GG+]
Large-scale international content with wide global reach (at least 4 countries, 1 of which must be mainland China / North America / Europe), recognition and impact, and be of a scale and scope that is larger than Go-Global projects.
* Please note the following conditions specific to this CFP:
- Deadline for formal application (see guidelines for conditions to be fulfilled by this stage, including financing), if the project is selected:
By no later than 31 January 2026
- Deadline for project completion (i.e. final milestone delivered to IMDA):
By no later than 31 January 2027
- Please note that any projects whose timelines do not comply with this deadline, will not be accepted for consideration in the CFP

How to respond to a CFP
If you have a ready project to submit for the CFP, please read the published guidelines carefully and prepare the proposal according to the requirements. Your complete proposal (including all required documents) must be submitted via FormSG through this link – Please note the form will only be open for the CFP submission period. Please note that the IMDA reserves the right to not accept any submission that is late, deemed incomplete, or whose timeline does not comply with the conditions stated above. No exceptions will be entertained.
