About Jobs Transformation Map

Reskilling of the Information and Communications (I&C) sector’s workforce remains a priority, as new technologies threaten the relevancy of existing skill sets.

To identify emerging technological trends and their impact on the I&C workforce, IMDA published the I&C Jobs Transformation Map (JTM) with the help of TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA). TeSA is a national initiative that aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy. It helps I&C professionals recognise the skills needed to stay competitive. It also guides employers in redesigning jobs for at-risk workers and providing the necessary training or reskilling for them to take on evolved or emerging job roles.

Training partnerships

In partnership with trusted and well-established training providers, IMDA facilitates the adequate supply of quality training for in-demand skills. Our appointed Training Partners will engage industry and employers to develop relevant, demand-driven curriculum.
