Homecoming

Homecoming is a heartwarming Singapore-Malaysia road trip comedy, involving three families rushing home for that special once-a-year reunion dinner on Chinese New Year’s Eve. Karen Neo is heading back to Kuala Lumpur with her reluctant son, Meng, who has been set up for matchmaking. Bad-tempered Chef Daniel has to deal with a neglected daughter, who runs away from home, as well as an eccentric group of temp cooks helping him to prepare an important feast for a minister. A modern newlywed couple, Boon and Jamie, plans to escape the Chinese New Year with a holiday abroad, but learns the true meaning of the occasion instead. Homecoming captures the warmth and the sense of tradition for families celebrating the idea of coming together, for an annual reunion, and what it means to go home.
