J Team Productions is one of Singapore’s premiere and pioneer production houses. Helmed by renowned Jack Neo, J Team has been in breaking new grounds since 1980s. During its inception, J Team focuses mainly on events and artistes management, slowly expanding into the TV genre (Chinese and English).
J Team has also produced box office hit movies such as Money No Enough (1998), Money No Enough (2008), I Not Stupid (2002), I Not Stupid Too (2006), Homerun (2003), We Not Naughty (2012), Ah Boys to Men (2012), Ah Boys to Men 2 (2013) and many more.
J Team’s most successful movie, Ah Boys to Men, broke several box office records in Singapore. Within a short span of five weeks, it became the highest-grossing Singapore film of all time, raking in $6.21 million. Its sequel, Ah Boys to Men 2, broke the box office record yet again, to become the highest-grossing Singapore film of all time, raking in over $7 million in just 26 days. In 2016, J Team produced Long Long Time Ago as a commemoration to Singapore’s 50th birthday. It is a period film depicting Singapore from 1965 to the early 1970s. In 2017, J Team produced the fourth installment of Ah Boys To Men in celebration with NS50, marking yet another successful box office record for the company.
