Application to participate in the PCMTS Spectrum Auction closed at 5.00pm on 22 February 2008. IDA has received a total of three Application Forms with accompanying First Initial Offers and Bank Guarantees. The three applicants were MobileOne Ltd, Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte Ltd; and StarHub Mobile Pte Ltd.
No more than one First Initial Offer was made in respect of each of the eighteen PCMTS Spectrum Lots that were available. Therefore, the PCMTS Spectrum Rights Auction will not proceed.
IDA will allocate the PCMTS Spectrum Lots to each of the three applicants pursuant to their First Initial Offers. The Base Year Charge for each PCMTS Spectrum Lot allocated shall be equal to the Reserve Price of $300,000.00 (exclusive of the applicable GST).
IDA will issue a Provisional Award Notice to each of the three applicants. The PCMTS Spectrum Right will be granted after IDA has received the PCMTS Spectrum Right Initial Payment from the respective applicants.

IDA has extended the deadline for submission of the Application Form, First Initial Offer Document and Bank Guarantee from 15 February 2008 to 22 February 2008.
All queries on the auction were to be submitted to IDA by hand or by fax (Fax Number: +65 6211 2116), attention to Mr Andrew J. Haire, by 5pm, 1 February 2008.
IDA conducted an initial briefing on the PCMTS Spectrum Rights Auction Framework on 25 January 2008, 2.30pm, at IDA. Interested bidders were invited to register with IDA by 5pm, 23 January 2008.
