Standards and Classification

IMDA classifies all Arts Entertainment (AE) including plays, musicals, stand-up comedies, dance performances, art exhibitions including photography exhibitions, performances of music, singing or dancing, and pop/rock concerts.

The Film Classification System has six ratings, and consumer advisories will be issued for films rated PG13 and above.

Video games have evolved in sophistication from being merely games for children to games for adults with mature themes. The Video Game Classification System comprises an Advisory 16 rating and a Mature 18 rating.
