Request For Exemption By Singapore Telecommunications LimitedOn 29 January 2001, Singapore Telecommunications Limited ("SingTel"), in accordance with Section 2.6.1 of the Telecom Competition Code ("Code"), submitted its request for exemption from certain requirements applicable to it under the Code. Notice: Extension Of Period Of Review By IDA Of The Singapore Telecommunication Limited Revised Proposed Reference Interconnection Offer ("RIO") - Issued 26 January 2001
SingTel submitted its revised proposed Reference Interconnection Offer ("RIO") to IDA on 11 January 2001. IDA has notified SingTel that IDA will complete its review of the RIO on 31 January 2001. Licensees are advised accordingly.

Notice: Extension Of Time For Singapore Telecommunications Limited to Submit the Revised Proposed Reference Interconnection Offer("RIO") Incorporating The Modifications Required BY IDA Pursuant To IDA's Notification To Singtel Dated 13 December 2000
On 13 December 2000, IDA notified SingTel that IDA required modifications to be made to SingTel's proposed RIO. On 15 December 2000, SingTel requested for an extension of two (2) weeks, and for IDA's approval to submit the revised proposed RIO by 11 January 2001. Pursuant to Section 1.6.1 of the Telecom Competition Code, IDA has granted SingTel an exemption from its obligation to submit, within the time frame of 15 days from the date of IDA's notification on 13 December 2000, the revised proposed RIO that incorporates the modifications required by IDA . IDA has granted the exemption on condition that SingTel submits the revised proposed RIO incorporating the modifications required by IDA by 11 January 2001. Licensees should be advised accordingly.

Notice: Extension of Time for Review of Refence Interconnection Offer Pursuant to Section 5.3.4 of the Telecom Competition Code
Pursuant to Section 5.3.4 of the Telecom Competition Code, IDA has notified SingTel that the period of review by IDA of SingTel's proposed RIO has been extended by an additional 15 days, until 13 December 2000.
Please be advised that the IDA will be extending the deadline for submission of comments to 5 pm, 15 Nov 2000, Wednesday (instead of 5 pm, 13 Nov 2000, Monday) as the 2nd batch of Schedules to the draft RIO was posted on 1 Nov 2000.
